HRT has developed a unique dispersion technology to be used as a substitute for phenol formaldehyde adhesive and isocyanate adhesive. Our technology reduces the amount of formaldehyde normally in these adhesives even though formaldehyde off-gassing does not occur with these two existing resins. The attraction of our product is significant cost savings with no reduction in performance. Oriented strand board (OSB) is the target product that we have focused our efforts and we have had several successful line trials at a major OSB manufacturer.
